Leisure Link Golf recently teed off for a truly worthy cause, the Bob Wilson Golf Classic 2013 held in Le Touquet, in memory of Bob and Megs Wilson’s treasured daughter Anna. The event was organised by Leisure Link Golf and sponsored by AllClear.

The weekend was filled with sun, delicious food and even a spot of golf! Worthy winners of the event were Alex McCartney, Matt Dun, Dave Walden and Rob Sturley. Best individual awards also went to Matt Fletcher and Megs Wilson.

Collectively, we raised £7,627, which is sure to make a real difference to The Willow Foundation. The auction was particular successful with a fourball at Stoke Park going for £600 and Jimmy Greaves shirt going for £500. A day at Brocket Hall playing golf with Bob Wilson also proved highly popular and raised an incredible £500.

The event, since its inception, has raised in excess of £100,000 and was once again a great success; we cannot wait to make next year’s even more memorable!

The 12^th Bob Wilson Golf Classic gets underway from 27^th – 29^th June and Leisure Link Golf are once again proud sponsors of the event. We hope to raise a record amount for the Willow Foundation in memory of Bob and Megs Wilson’s treasured daughter Anna. It has been a pleasure organising such a worthwhile event for over a decade and raised £100, 000 for the Willow Foundation.

Beautifully situated in Le Touquet, Le Manoir Hotel will be hosting this year’s event. Renowned for its calm and peaceful atmosphere, it is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day of golf. Whilst we will definitely enjoy the sunshine, cuisine and golf courses of France, it is important to remember the true motivation behind this event – providing an experience of a lifetime to seriously ill individuals.
